Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support refinery and industrial capital projects in the Pacific Northwest, based in Ferndale, WA. The role emphasizes electrical design, calculations, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams on complex facility upgrades.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in refining, oil & gas, petrochemical, or heavy industrial environments and are comfortable with field support during construction and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required.
• Minimum 5+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Experience in refining, oil & gas, petrochemical, energy, or heavy industrial facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical packages including one-line diagrams and wiring schematics.
• Perform load calculations and voltage drop analyses.
• Prepare technical specifications and project documentation for equipment modifications.
• Support commissioning, startup, and facility turnaround activities.
