Eversource Energy is seeking an experienced professional to lead distribution planning efforts and perform studies that optimize the reliability of its electric power system.

The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, preparing regulatory testimony, and shaping long-range distribution strategies, including PV, EV, and battery storage integration. Some travel to regional locations is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with Electric Power Systems focus.
• Minimum of five years in planning, design and operations of distribution facilities.
• PE license in CT, MA or NH desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Identify distribution system problems across feeders and substations; lead planning studies.
• Develop medium- and long-term distribution plans for load relief and DER integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups for long-range planning and new tech (PV, EV, storage).
• Prepare contingency studies for distribution networks (N-1, N-2).
• Propose new substations and associated OH/UG feeders.
• Conduct voltage and power-factor studies and advise stakeholders.
• Lead forecast studies for distribution planning inputs.
