Job summary

TAE Technologies is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the architectural design of electrical subsystems for accelerator projects, including high voltage systems, power supplies, and control layouts.

The role requires strong leadership, a background in electrical engineering, and proven experience with IEC 60601 and FDA-compliant medical technology. You will oversee a team, guide engineering solutions, and ensure delivery within budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• Requires: B.S. in Electrical Engineering; MS/PhD preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical, electronic and control systems in large industrial/scientific/medical projects.
• Experience with high voltage/current systems, safety clearances and SIL safety evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design of electrical subsystems for the accelerator, including power supplies and high voltage systems.
• Define and enforce electrical safety standards per IEC 60601 and FDA regulations.
• Manage the engineering group in medical technology development aligned with company programs.
• Identify engineering challenges and contribute to advanced design solutions with cross-disciplinary teams.
• Provide direction and task assignments to deliver programs on budget and schedule.
• Monitor task completion and evaluate project progress.
• Develop personnel to ensure achievement of engineering goals.
