Job summary

TAE Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer for Medical Beams in Foothill Ranch, CA. You will lead electrical subsystem architecture for the accelerator, oversee safety compliance to IEC 60601 and FDA, and manage a team to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Ideal candidates hold a B.S. in Electrical Engineering (M.S./Ph.D. preferred) with experience in high voltage, EMI environments and medical device facilities.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering required.
• MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Experience with electrical, electronic and control systems in large projects.
• HVAC/high current systems, safety clearances and SIL evaluations.
• Experience with EMI grounding/shielding and medical/regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design of electrical subsystems for accelerator including power supplies and controls.
• Define and enforce IEC 60601 and FDA safety standards.
• Manage engineering group toward budget, schedule and quality.
• Identify engineering challenges and develop design solutions with cross-functional teams.
• Allocate tasks and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery.
