Job summary

Delta Engineering Group seeks a Lead Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership for facilities and infrastructure projects in Chicago. You will manage electrical design, mentor staff, and coordinate with clients and other disciplines to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role requires strong communication, hands-on design experience, and the ability to lead multi-discipline teams. Hybrid work with three remote days per week is offered, along with a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• PE license required (Illinois)
• Minimum ten years of electrical design experience
• Experience leading design teams and delivering construction documents

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering design for facilities and infrastructure.
• Coordinate with clients and other disciplines.
• Mentor staff and review contract documents.
• Perform/oversee load analyses, voltage drop, and equipment sizing.
• Oversee drawings in AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation; QA/QC reviews.
