Job summary
GS Group in Wisconsin or Michigan, USA is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to own electrical design across industrial, manufacturing and R&D projects. You will drive concept through installation, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to meet project milestones.
The role covers power distribution, drives, lighting, fire and gas detection, and energy efficiency. Travel to customer sites is required, with overnight stays and collaboration with clients and suppliers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in industrial electrical systems design.
- PE licence preferred; strong knowledge of NEC and NFPA.
- Experience with Revit, SKM Power Tools and lighting calculations.
Responsibilities
- Develop electrical power and control system designs, specifications and calculations.
- Work across power distribution, AC drives, lighting, fire alarm systems, gas detection and lighting controls.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, project managers, clients and suppliers.
- Support equipment installation, start-up and commissioning at customer sites.
- Manage technical requirements, project deadlines and changing scopes.
