The Planet Group is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer in Greer, SC area with 12+ years' leadership experience in heavy industrial, chemical, or manufacturing design. You will drive electrical design, oversee project teams, and mentor staff while coordinating with clients and vendors.

Hybrid work becomes available after direct hire; contract work is onsite. Requirements include a PE (preferred), NEC/API knowledge, and expertise with medium- and low-voltage systems, grounding, and hazardous

Competenze

• 12+ years as Lead Electrical Engineer in industrial environments.
• Experience with medium- and low-voltage power systems and hazardous areas.
• Leadership of project teams and mentoring junior staff.
• Knowledge of NEC and API standards; strong design and field-exp. capabilities.

Mansioni

• Lead electrical design and design review activities across projects.
• Perform engineering calculations, studies, and field investigations.
• Prepare specs and define subcontract and equipment needs.
• Provide technical direction and coordinate engineers, designers, and drafters.
• Ensure projects meet schedule, quality, and safety requirements.
• Interact with clients, vendors, and project managers regularly.
