Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required.
• 7+ years of post-education experience in electrical design for healthcare, industrial, or commercial facilities.
• Professional engineering license required.
• Minimum 5+ years of project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop drawings and specifications for architects, contractors and building owners.
• Manage cross-functional engineering teams: budgets, hours, permits and construction documentation.
• Coordinate design with multi-discipline team members.
• Design primary electrical power and emergency power systems.
• Design fire alarm and life safety systems.
• Perform load, short-circuit and voltage drop calculations.
• Oversee construction administration and client meetings.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure safety and compliance.
