Job summary

Vanderweil Engineers seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer / Group Leader in Philadelphia to design building infrastructure across Healthcare, Data Centers, Science and Tech, Academic and Commercial sites.

Lead the electrical team through design to construction, coordinating with mechanical and plumbing groups, and overseeing field administration. Hybrid work schedule offered, with up to 2 days remote per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is required.
• 15+ years of related experience is expected.
• Understanding of the NEC, IBC and IECC is required.
• PE license is a plus or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project engineer on a variety of commercial projects from design to construction.
• Coordinate design with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Design of power distribution, lighting, and emergency/standby power per NEC codes.
• Develop specifications, legends, site plans, lighting plans, power plans and loads.
