Job summary

Mainspring Energy is seeking an autonomous Electrical Engineer, Electronics Design, to own end-to-end hardware development for the Linear Generator. You will design low-voltage systems, lead bring-up, validation, and participate in design reviews with cross-functional teams.

You will work with reliability and manufacturing partners to improve robustness, perform DFMEA, and help scale hardware for production in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing low-voltage hardware (<60V).
• Proven ability to drive projects from requirements to production.
• Experience with PCBA schematic capture and PCB design tools (Altium preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design low-voltage hardware and PCBA for the Linear Generator.
• Own bring-up, validation, and qualification of hardware designs.
• Lead cross-functional design reviews to align requirements and secure approvals.
• Collaborate on reliability analyses and manufacturability improvements.
