Job summary

L3Harris Technologies seeks an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer in Cincinnati to design ruggedized electronics for fuzing and ordnance systems. You will lead a technical team, interface with customers, and deliver simulations, tests, and design reviews in a fast-paced defense environment.

The role requires strong communication, comprehensive circuit design skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while mentoring junior engineers. Security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree with 7+ years of experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
• Proven experience in analog and digital circuit design, power circuit design, and sensor integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine requirements.
• Interface with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Circuit design and component selection for ruggedized electronics.
• Perform simulations and circuit tolerance analyses.
• Prepare and execute test plans and generate test reports.
• Lead team members to achieve program objectives.
• Mentor less experienced engineers.
• Participate in design reviews and root cause analysis.
