Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to own all aspects of electrical engineering for new age data center designs. You will define standards, reference designs and governance, and drive cross-region implementation across the global product platform.

You will lead integration of energy storage and generation, ensure reliability goals, and partner with operations and external teams for successful handover and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 10+ years of substantial electrical power design and construction experience.
• Data Center or mission-critical experience required.
• Willingness to travel 15–25%.
• Master’s degree and professional license are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering for data center designs within the product platform.
• Define standards, reference designs and governance across regions.
• Develop and validate generation and energy storage integration.
• Coordinate with operations and external partners during handover.
• Perform load, short-circuit, and distribution analyses.
