Job summary

Tighe & Bond seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead multidisciplinary design teams, from planning through commissioning, for buildings, campuses, and infrastructure projects. This role acts as Engineer of Record for power distribution, lighting, life safety, and related systems.

You will mentor engineers, develop proposals, coordinate with owners and architects, and support varying delivery methods. Massachusetts licensure preferred; PE in NE states acceptable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• Professional Engineer license required.
• 15+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Significant experience leading electrical design for buildings or campuses.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design from planning through construction documents and commissioning.
• Serve as Engineer of Record for electrical systems incl. power, lighting, life safety.
• Evaluate existing systems and propose upgrades, capacity, and resiliency improvements.
• Mentor engineers and designers; lead client meetings and proposals.
