Job summary

Job Juncture seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead building systems design for multiple project types in New England. The role requires a PE, with emphasis on technical leadership, collaboration, and professional growth within a supportive A/E environment.

You will design electrical systems for commercial, municipal, healthcare, industrial, and institutional facilities, guiding the project from concept through delivery and providing mentorship to junior staff.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Eight or more years of electrical building systems design experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and engineering tools.
• Strong knowledge of codes, standards, and energy efficiency principles.
• Leadership, mentoring, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low voltage systems design.
• Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, one line diagrams, and detailed drawings.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers and project teams.
• Conduct construction administration including site visits and technical reviews.
• Ensure QA/QC to maintain technical excellence.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide technical decisions.
• Engage with clients and present solutions.
