Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Senior Registered Electrical Engineer - BESS to lead electrical design for Battery Energy System Storage facilities. The role spans staff management, budget and schedule oversight, and serving as a technical expert on multi-disciplinary EPC programs.

You will coordinate with clients and internal teams, develop project plans, and ensure design quality and technical excellence across portfolio work in a fast-growing tech-enabled energy sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and active licensure required.
• Minimum 11 years related work experience.
• Pre-employment checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Proactively guides department design guides, standards and policies.
• Ensures quality program compliance and risk management.
• Prepares complex engineering deliverables for mega projects.
• Manages budgets, schedules, and project staff assignments.
• Coordinates with internal/external teams on complex projects.
• Develops client relationships and identifies future needs.
