Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation seeks a BESS Services Project Manager to lead development, design engineering and owner's engineering for battery energy storage system projects, with focus on performance, cost, schedule, quality, safety and client satisfaction.

You will staff the project, manage cross‑disciplinary teams, coordinate third‑party contributors, and ensure successful execution from permitting through turnover, including risk and procurement aspects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent engineering experience.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
• Preferred energy storage/BESS experience and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of development, design engineering and owner's engineering services for BESS projects, including risk to cost, schedule and quality.
• Staff the project and lead multi-discipline teams to successful execution.
• Coordinate permitting, cost estimating, procurement, RFPs, bid evaluation, design review, construction and turnover.
