Job summary

Henderson Engineers in Plano, TX seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead complex building systems design for mission-critical/data center projects. You’ll guide design from concept through completion, provide technical leadership, mentor engineers and designers, and help shape practice-level strategy and business development.

You will collaborate with teams across disciplines to deliver safe, reliable power, lighting, and distribution solutions while upholding quality and client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, fire protection, or architectural).
• 9+ years of relevant experience or higher.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred; required for EORs.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering design from concept through completion for complex projects.
• Direct preparation of design documents, layouts, drawings, schematics, and specs.
• Mentor designers and engineers and contribute to technical strategy and business development.
