Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineering Technician - Nuclear Design in a hybrid environment, supporting Nuclear projects within the Power Providers Market Sector. You will design electrical systems, including duct bank, cable tray, grounding, lighting, and related components, using Bentley MicroStation and other Bentley tools.

Under minimal supervision, you will develop high-quality 2D/3D deliverables, manage project budgets and schedules, and collaborate with multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• 15+ years related work experience.
• Pre-employment onboarding requirements (criminal/civil background check, drug screen, MVR) may be required.
• As this role supports the global nuclear program, citizenship requirements per 10 CFR 810 may apply.
• Experience with nuclear design projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead technician or supervisor role in design teams.
• Create, modify, and manage electrical design drawings using CAD/BIM.
• Ensure technical quality, schedule adherence, and budget compliance.
• Coordinate design activities across departments and stakeholders.
• Mentor staff and enforce design standards.
