Job summary
Black & Veatch seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer for Nuclear Power to lead technical directions, develop design packages, and deliver electrical drawings for operating nuclear facilities. The role requires a BS in engineering and 11+ years of experience, with PE preferred.
Hybrid work options and relocation support are available. The candidate will perform complex calculations (load flow, short circuit, ETAP/SKM) and coordinate with clients and project teams across several US offices, including
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 11 years related work experience in engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or required by the business.
Responsibilities
- Provides guidance as technical specialist or project lead for project teams.
- Develops design change packages for nuclear facilities and delivers solutions.
- Prepares engineering calculations and drawings using ETAP/SKM and AutoCAD.
- Creates BOMs and equipment specifications for procurement and construction.
- Coordinates with clients, attends on-site meetings and supports construction.
