Honeywell Aerospace in Lancaster, PA seeks a Lead Electrical Design Engineer to guide electrical systems development from concept through production.

You will supervise design activities, ensure compliance with industry standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, reliable solutions for aerospace applications. U.S. defense experience preferred and security clearance ability required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering with prior lead/senior role
• Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, practices, and standards
• Proficiency in electrical design software and tools, capable of leading design efforts
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills for complex challenges
• Experience in the US defense industry
• Ability to obtain a US security clearance (citizenship requirement)

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering projects from conception to production support
• Design work including CCAs, cables, subsystems, and test equipment
• Write design disclosures, requirements documents, and test plans
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
• Design and develop electrical systems and components
• Conduct feasibility studies and analyze requirements
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations
