Job summary

Kleinfelder’s Water Technologies team is seeking a Lead Electrical Controls Engineer to design, implement, and troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and control systems for water and wastewater projects. The role involves collaboration with clients and project teams and may require local reporting to Defiance or Perrysburg, OH.

The ideal candidate will have strong AutoCAD Electrical skills, experience with RSLogix/Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk View, and a solid track record in PLC/SCADA

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field is required.
Strong AutoCAD Electrical skills for schematic design and documentation.
Experience with PLC/SCADA development and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Design electrical, instrumentation, and control systems for water/wastewater facilities.
Create schematics and BOMs using AutoCAD Electrical.
Develop PLC logic and HMI/SCADA applications.
Perform onsite commissioning and testing of systems.
Provide troubleshooting and field support as needed.
Document operation and maintenance procedures.
