Job summary

The Foth Companies is seeking a Lead Electrical and Controls Engineer to join our team. You will provide technical leadership for industrial projects, develop design packages, and coordinate PLC/SCADA, HMI, VFD, and servo projects from hardware design through commissioning.

Ideal candidates bring a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and 10+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing environments, with strong Rockwell and Siemens systems skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 10+ years of engineering/design experience in manufacturing environments
• Experience with Rockwell Control Logix PLCs, FTView HMI, PowerFlex VFDs, Kinetix servo drives

Responsibilities

• Provide hardware and software design leadership for industrial projects
• Coordinate and execute PLC/DCS, HMI, VFD and servo projects from design through start-up
• Lead design/CAD resources and interface with clients on a daily basis
