Job summary

The Foth Companies is seeking an experienced Electrical & Controls Designer to support internal project teams and external clients. You will design electrical systems for process, packaging, utility, and facility projects across multiple industries.

Utilize AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Eplan, MicroStation, and Revit to produce drawings, 3D models, and construction documents. Collaborative teamwork and field support during installation and startup are expected.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent technical training in drafting/design or electronics.
5+ years of experience as a designer in electrical and controls.
3+ years with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Eplan, MicroStation or similar CAD software.
3+ years of experience with Revit or other 3D design software.

Responsibilities

Promote and follow safety policies for Foth and clients.
Prepare and maintain electrical design drawings and models using CAD tools.
Develop electrical layouts within 3D coordinated models.
Create construction documents for process, packaging, utility, and facility projects.
Prepare one-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and BOMs.
