Job summary

Foth in Green Bay, WI is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to provide hardware and software design leadership for industrial projects. You will develop design packages for bid and construction, coordinate PLC/DCS, HMI, VFD and servo projects, and guide CAD resources through start-up and commissioning.

You will interface daily with clients, gather requirements, and produce high-quality deliverables across multiple project teams while supporting installation and troubleshooting in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent tech training/experience.
• 10+ years in engineering/design in manufacturing environments; troubleshoot complex projects.
• Industrial actuators and end effectors experience.
• Integration of machine vision systems.
• Rockwell ControlLogix PLC and FTView HMI hardware/software.
• Rockwell PowerFlex VFDs and inverter duty motors.
• Rockwell Kinetix servo drives and motors.
• Ethernet and Ethernet/IP networking experience.
• Electrical schematics and control panel layout design.
• Develop construction and installation documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical hardware and software design leadership for industrial projects.
• Develop design packages for bid and construction.
• Coordinate and execute design and programming of PLC/DCS, HMI, VFD and Servo projects from hardware design to start-up.
• Coordinate electrical engineering and lead design/CAD resources.
• Provide hardware and software design for machine design projects in consumer products and general industrial markets.
• Develop design packages and assist in project documentation including schedules, specs, and cost estimates.
• Produce high quality project deliverables in a collaborative team environment.
• Gather data and provide installation, start up, and troubleshooting support.
• Work on multiple project teams simultaneously; respond to client requests for on-going controls troubleshooting.
• Interface with clients daily to understand and respond to needs; cultivate future work opportunities.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 24 months
