Job summary
The Foth Companies in Wisconsin seeks a Lead Electrical and Controls Engineer to drive hardware and software design for industrial projects. This role coordinates PLC/DCS, HMI, VFD, and servo drives from hardware development through startup, while leading CAD resources and interfacing with clients daily.
We value 10+ years of relevant experience, Rockwell expertise, and the ability to develop construction documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent tech training/experience.
- 10+ years of engineering/design experience in manufacturing and troubleshooting complex projects.
- Experience with Rockwell PLC/FTView, VFDs, servo drives, and Ethernet networks.
- Strong ability to develop construction/installation documentation and design packages.
- Ability to lead hardware/software design for industrial projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide hardware/software design leadership for industrial projects.
- Develop design packages for bid and construction.
- Coordinate PLC/DCS, HMI, VFD, servo projects from design to start-up.
- Lead design/CAD resources and interface with clients daily.
- Support installation, start-up, and troubleshooting for equipment.
