Job summary

Foth is seeking a team-focused Lead Electrical Engineer to drive design of industrial power distribution systems across multiple US sites and remote work options. Based in Wisconsin but open to Green Bay, Madison, Milwaukee, Chicago, Minneapolis locations or remote work from a home office.

Responsibilities include field data collection, medium and low-voltage distribution design, power system analysis, QA/QC, and coordinating with clients and contractors. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with Power System option or equivalent.
• 10+ years of industrial electrical systems design and analysis.
• 5+ years in medium- and low-voltage power distribution including substations and grounding.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience with SKM or EasyPower for short circuit and coordination.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70/70E/IEEE codes.

Responsibilities

• Gather field data and conduct field investigations in an industrial environment.
• Provide design support for electrical systems including 15 kV and 600 VAC distribution.
• Perform power systems analysis and arc flash calculations.
• Design power distribution, grounding, and facility electrical systems.
• Lead development of project documentation, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Perform QA/QC on design packages and stamps.
• Lead design reviews with clients and internal teams.
• Develop proposals including scope, deliverables, effort hours, and cost.
• Travel up to 25% annually.
