Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of project management experience in commercial/industrial electrical contracting.
• Experience with ground-up and tenant improvement projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and local codes.
• Proficiency with project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project.
• Ability to read blueprints and manage budgets/schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of electrical construction projects from pre-construction planning through closeout.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
• Review contract documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure full understanding and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Lead and facilitate project meetings, including kickoff meetings, progress updates, and project closeout discussions.
• Monitor project costs, track changes, and manage change orders to maintain budget integrity.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company standards, and client requirements.
• Procure necessary materials and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.
• Oversee field personnel and collaborate with superintendents and foremen to ensure milestones.
• Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Foster and maintain client relationships and deliver high-quality results.
