CENTRAL MAINE POWER CO in Augusta, ME is seeking a Supervisor for Electric Line Operations to oversee line/gas/electric construction and maintenance, schedule crews, manage budgets, and coordinate with regulators. The role requires leadership, safety focus, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree with 4+ years relevant experience preferred.
• Associates degree with 7+ years relevant experience or HS diploma with 10+ years.
• Knowledge of line work and construction.
• Knowledge of line, gas and/or electric theory, switching, tagging, labor agreement, safety manual, leak detection methods, procedures and instrumentation.
• Knowledge of NEC, NESC, Hazmat, OSHA codes.
• Valid Driver's License; may require DOT qualifications.
• Results- and customer-service oriented.
• Strong verbal and written communications.
• Self-directed with multitasking ability.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, SAP, Outlook.
• Demonstrated supervisory skills and interpersonal abilities.
• Available for after-hours response to storms and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Plans and oversees work of line and gas and/or electric departments.
• Schedules crews; assigns scope and materials; coordinates equipment.
• Administers damage claims, billing, time sheets, and budgets.
• Monitors gas records for auditing and compliance.
• Oversees construction office and budget management.
• Coordinates with highway officials and regulators.
• Supervises emergency restoration; risk and incident handling.
• May conduct employee evaluations and labor relations tasks.
