Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects in Texas. The role involves installing, altering and repairing electrical systems and mentoring the crew to meet quality standards.

You will read blueprints, coordinate with other trades, and ensure safe, efficient execution while driving production and budget alignment. Weekend/overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Demonstrates leadership abilities to coach teams of ~5 electricians.
• Able to read blueprints and contract documents.
• Familiar with coordinating with other trades on site.
• Willingness to work weekends/overtime.
• Strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers, and Apprentices on site.
• Ensure work quality aligns with the highest standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the crew.
• Develop material lists from layouts and job demands.
• Help achieve production and budget goals by communicating needs.
• Ensure crew work complies with local codes and NEC.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, panels, and feeders.
• Read project specs, blueprints, and schematics.
• Layout work from drawings, including underground layout.
• Determine wire, conduit, and junction box sizes.
• Troubleshoot lighting and general power circuits.
