Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies in the United States seeks an experienced EI&C Engineer to lead the electrical, instrumentation and controls design for water treatment facilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop detailed electrical and process control designs, and drive FATs, commissioning and handover.

You will apply expertise in low voltage control systems, PLC/HMI programming, SCADA design, and ensure safety, quality and schedule adherence on complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent from an accredited University.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant or related experience.
• Experience with complex industrial control system design.
• Passport and driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret and comment on engineering documents including P&IDs, GA drawings, and process design guidelines.
• Design complete detailed electrical design for water treatment facilities (single line diagrams, load lists, I/O lists, networks, panels).
• Develop complete process control documents (Control Philosophy, Control Logic, Sequence Charts).
• Perform FATs, CVTs and checkouts as required.
• Engage in automation deliverables including test plans and programming.
• Manage budget, scope, and schedule and report risks and opportunities to project teams.
