Job summary

Jabil in the United States is seeking an EHS Specialist who will serve as the sole EHS resource for the facility. You will develop and administer programs, policies, and training to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations while promoting a safe work environment.

You will partner with operations to assess risks, inspect facilities, and lead incident investigations. Strong communication and leadership are essential to advance EHS initiatives and company goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Education or training in EHS for manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to develop and implement EHS policies and procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
• Partner with operations to conduct risk assessments and support safe design.
• Perform facility inspections to identify hazards and recommend actions.
• Deliver EHS training and communications to promote safety culture.
• Participate in incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate workers' compensation case management.
• Maintain EHS records and permits.
• Report EHS performance to site leadership.
