Job summary

Jabil is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist to be the sole EHS resource for the facility in Hanover Park, IL. The role develops and administers EHS programs, policies, training, and communications to ensure compliant, safe operations.

Responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, supporting safe equipment design, inspections, incident investigations, and recordkeeping. The role partners with operations to promote a strong safety culture and regulatory

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and applicable regulations.
• Ability to develop and implement EHS policies and procedures.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with incident investigations and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
• Conducts risk assessments and supports safe equipment design and change management.
• Performs facility inspections and recommends corrective actions.
• Guides on hazardous materials, chemical safety, and environmental compliance.
• Delivers EHS training and communications to promote safety culture.
• Participates in incident investigations and implements corrective actions.
• Manages workers' compensation coordination and maintains EHS records.
• Reports EHS performance to site leadership and supports corporate initiatives.
