Job summary

Jabil Byhalia Sterilization Facility seeks a Lead EHS Engineer to establish, implement, and maintain a safe work environment compliant with health, safety, and environmental regulations. You will drive safety programs, perform risk assessments, and lead audits to improve safety performance across the site.

Ideal candidates have extensive manufacturing EHS experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and leadership abilities to manage safety initiatives with cross-functional teams and contractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing with EHS focus.
• Strong knowledge of US OSHA and EPA compliance.
• Ability to lead audits and safety program development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the site safety statement and policy in partnership with plant management.
• Provide guidance on Health & Safety legislation and codes of practice.
• Lead internal reporting, audits, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Implement corporate H&S systems with emphasis on process safety management.
• Lead investigations and risk assessments (HAZOPs, root cause analysis).
• Coordinate safety training and ensure timely delivery of mandatory courses.
• Represent safety in pre-start-up reviews and equipment walk-downs.
