Job summary

United States Army Installation Management Command at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA, is seeking candidates for Part-Time Child Development Centers positions (6wks‑5yrs) in Morale Welfare & Recreation Child and Youth Services (CYS). This includes eligibility for MWR CYS Regular and FLEX (minimum 15 hours) and 100% childcare fee discount for the first child, plus 25% for second and subsequent children.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in child development, early childhood education, elementary or secondary education, home economics (early childhood emphasis), elementary education, special education, or related field; OR a combination of education and experience.
Six months experience supervising or leading caregivers within child/youth facility-based programs.
Experience managing in a classroom setting within child and youth programs.
Experience implementing and overseeing a structured child and youth program curriculum.
Demonstrated verbal communication skills gained through training, presentations, and meetings with parents/staff.
