Job summary

You will supervise and train staff, ensure proper signatures and forms, and collaborate with clinical teams to optimize patient access and flow.

Responsibilities include managing census, handling PBX duties, and covering shifts as needed while ensuring compliance with hospital policies and care coordination standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Typing speed at least 45 wpm and basic computer skills.
• Experience in admissions or medical office settings preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in a lead role.

Responsibilities

• Register all patient types accurately for ED services and related procedures.
• Process patient changes including discharges with proper signatures and forms.
• Ensure compliance with policies and coordinate care with clinical teams.
• Maintain census and reporting tasks (PBX duties as needed).
• Serve as preceptor for new hires and cover shifts as required.
