Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, VA seeks a Senior Echocardiographer to perform and analyze advanced echocardiographic studies, including TTE, TEE, and stress tests. You will mentor junior staff and contribute to quality patient care.

The role requires 3+ years of echocardiography experience, relevant certifications, and BLS within 90 days, with leadership responsibilities and collaboration across departments.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited echocardiography program (or equivalent education) in accordance with IAC Guidelines (required).
• Associate Level Degree (required).
• Must have at least one of the four certifications: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or Advanced Cardiac Sonographer.
• BLS certification required within 90 days.
• Echocardiographer experience (3 years minimum required).

Responsabilidades

• Perform and analyze advanced echocardiographic procedures (TTE, TEE, stress echocardiography).
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to provide diagnostic information and mentor junior staff.
• Lead staffing schedules, accreditation efforts, and staff education; support cardiac operating room echocardiogram needs.
