Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a dedicated Teacher to lead and mentor in an early childhood classroom. You will implement our curriculum, create a safe, nurturing environment, and partner with parents to provide the best care and education.

The role requires strong customer service, organization, and the ability to multi-task across daily activities. A CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy is preferred, with CPR/First Aid certification desired.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years ECE experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
• CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy required
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors/outdoors
• English communication with children and parents required
• Meet state qualifications or willingness to obtain required credentials

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
• Support center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
