The Learning Experience – Bushwick in Brooklyn, NY is hiring Lead Early Childhood Teachers for our 2.5–3-year-old classrooms. This full-time role offers $23–$25 per hour, based on experience.

Lead the classroom, create a warm, structured environment, implement LEAP Curriculum, plan hands-on activities to foster language, creativity, movement, and early academics, and communicate with families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Alternate pathways include an Associate Degree in ECE with strong experience.
• CDA credential accepted with relevant classroom experience.
• High School Diploma/GED plus 5 years’ relevant early childhood experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a classroom of children aged 2.5–3 years.
• Create a warm, structured, and engaging classroom environment.

Location: The Learning Experience – Bushwick, Brooklyn, NY

Pay: $23–$25 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

The Learning Experience – Bushwick is hiring Lead Early Childhood Teachers for our 2.5–3-year-old classrooms.

This is such an exciting developmental stage: children are building independence, developing rapidly expanding language skills, learning how to navigate friendships, and becoming increasingly curious about the world around them. We’re looking for experienced educators who can turn that curiosity into meaningful learning experiences.

What You'll Do

• Lead a classroom of children approximately 2.5–3 years old
• Create a warm, structured, and engaging classroom environment
• Implement The Learning Experience's proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• Plan hands‑on activities that encourage language, creativity, movement, and early academic skills
• Support independence, self‑help skills, and social‑emotional development
• Establish consistent routines and positive classroom guidance
• Observe developmental progress and support individual milestones
• Partner with families and provide regular classroom communication
• Guide and collaborate with classroom support teachers
• Maintain required documentation and classroom safety standards
• Follow applicable New York City childcare requirements

Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following education/experience pathways:

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, or
• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, or
• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, or
• High School Diploma/GED plus at least 5 years of relevant early childhood experience

Previous experience working with toddlers, older toddlers, or preschool-age children is strongly preferred. Lead classroom experience is also a plus.
