The Learning Experience – Bushwick in Brooklyn, NY seeks a qualified Lead Preschool Teacher to lead our 3-year-old classroom. Immediate opening for a passionate educator who values exploration, movement, conversation and hands-on learning.

You will guide literacy, language and early math while fostering social-emotional growth and strong family partnerships in a supportive team setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education required.
• Experience in preschool teaching strongly preferred.
• Lead teacher or classroom leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a nurturing and engaging classroom for 3-year-old learners.
• Implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
• Plan developmentally appropriate hands-on learning experiences.
• Support early literacy, language, math, science, and social-emotional development.
• Establish consistent routines and positive classroom guidance.

• Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families.

The Learning Experience – Bushwick is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Lead Preschool Teacher to lead our 3-year-old classroom.

We're looking for an educator who understands that three-year-olds learn best through exploration, movement, conversation, creativity, and plenty of hands-on experiences. You'll create a classroom where children build confidence, independence, friendships, and the foundational skills that prepare them for their next stage of learning.

What You’ll Do

• Lead a nurturing and engaging classroom for 3-year-old learners
• Implement The Learning Experience's proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• Plan developmentally appropriate hands‑on learning experiences
• Support early literacy, language, math, science, and social‑emotional development
• Establish consistent routines and positive classroom guidance
• Observe children's development and support individual learning goals
• Maintain classroom documentation, organization, and safety standards
• Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families
• Collaborate with Assistant Teachers and center leadership
• Follow applicable New York City childcare requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education required
• Previous preschool or early childhood teaching experience strongly preferred
• Lead Teacher or classroom leadership experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Dependable, nurturing, organized, and team-oriented
• Must meet applicable New York City childcare requirements
