Job summary

KinderCare in Philadelphia is hiring a Lead Teacher to create a safe, nurturing classroom and implement our curriculum to meet each child's needs. You will lead and mentor less experienced teachers, partner with families, and collaborate with center staff to support enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.

Required CDA or equivalent, 2-3 years in ECE, Bachelor's in ECE preferred, CPR/First Aid, and ability to lift 40 lbs. Fluency in English is essential to communicate with children and parents.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education experience
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and engage with children indoors/outdoors

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum to meet each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner with parents to support children's development.
• Support center success by working with staff to meet enrollment, accreditation and engagement goals.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, other teachers, licensing authorities and partners.
