Job summary

KinderCare is seeking a dedicated Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team. You will lead classrooms, mentor peers, and deliver developmentally appropriate curriculum while maintaining a safe, nurturing environment for all children.

You will actively partner with families and staff to support enrollment, accreditation, and community engagement. Ideal candidates will hold a CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education, have 2–3 years of experience, and be able to lift 40 pounds and

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills; able to multitask.
• Active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer preferred.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Able to engage with children and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that meets the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education.
• Support center success; partner with center staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
