Hire Up Recruiting is seeking dedicated Lead Teachers for a premier preschool in Fort Wayne, IN. Positions involve caring for children ages 1 to 3, with responsibilities including planning age-appropriate activities, maintaining portfolios, and communicating progress to families.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED Education: Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, or an education related field
• REQUIRED Experience: One year of experience in a licensed Early Childhood Education facility
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. for child handling and safety
• Must meet background check eligibility

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum; maintain educational portfolios
• Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom
• Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child
• Communicate with parents about progress and concerns
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
• Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to stay updated on best practices in early childhood education

Education

Our client is looking for caring, nurturing, and energetic full-time Lead Teachers to join their premier preschool in Fort Wayne, IN. The ideal candidate must be willing to work with children 1 to 3-years-old; as well as be comfortable with diapering and toilet training.

• This is a Direct Hire position with the school
• Full-time; year-round employment

• Lead Young Toddler Teacher: working with children 1 to 2 years old
• Lead Toddler Teacher: working with children 2 to 3 years old

Salary

• $15 – $16/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience
