Job summary

Our client in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a Lead Infant Teacher to care for children 6 weeks to 18 months in a brand-new preschool. The role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., year-round, with a sign-on bonus available based on qualifications.

Responsibilities include planning age-appropriate activities, maintaining portfolios, and communicating with families to ensure each child’s development and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a CDA or an Associate degree in Education or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a licensed ECE facility.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and assist with infant handling.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and maintain portfolios.
• Supervise and engage children in learning and play.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom.
• Monitor child well-being and communicate progress to parents.

• This is a Direct Hire position with the school
• Full-time Monday - Friday; year-round employment

Salary

• $17.00 - $21.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

Job Responsibilities
