Hire Up Recruiting client is seeking a Lead Toddler Teacher for a premier preschool in Canton, GA. This Direct Hire, full-time position offers Monday through Friday, year-round employment, with a pay rate of $14.00–$16.00 per hour depending on education, credentials, and experience.

The role involves providing a safe, nurturing environment for toddlers, supervising activities, and collaborating with staff to create a positive learning atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• CDA Certification or related ECE degree preferred.
• 6 months of experience in any capacity with children required.
• 1 year of experience in licensed ECE facility preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
• Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom
• Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
• Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education
• Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns
• Plan, create and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum
• Maintain educational portfolios for each child

Qualifications -

• PREFERRED Education: Completed Child Development Associate (CDA) Certificationor a completed degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development,or a related field
• REQUIRED Education: High School Diploma
• PREFERRED Experience: 1yearof experience in a licensed Early Childhood Education facility
• REQUIRED Experience: 6 months of experience working with children in any capacity (babysitting and nannying welcomed!)
• Mustbe at least 18years old
• Mustmeet background check eligibility
• Mustbe able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations - for Infant and Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
