AMETEK Inc. in Pittsburgh seeks a results-driven Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations, manage teams, and drive safety, quality, and on-time shipments.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will develop plans, coordinate with finance and product management, and champion continuous improvement across processes. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of production leadership, strong communication, and the ability to leverage AI tools to boost productivity while reducing costs

Qualifications

• More than 10 years of production experience and strong leadership.
• Deep understanding of production processes and strategies.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement plans and OpEx initiatives.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Experience using AI tools to improve productivity and reduce costs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production activities at PGH to deliver monthly shipments.
• Establish production and quality control standards, develop budget, cost controls, and to obtain data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered.
• Ensure there are plans to achieve near-term (rolling 3-6months) shipments.
• Develop the capabilities of the teams to deliver high-performance (coaching, mentoring, leading by example, personal development).
• Drive operational improvement ideas and plans to better position the manufacturing team to efficiently deliver product to the customer.
