Aurora is seeking a Senior Staff Signal Processing Engineer to lead DSP algorithm development from simulation to silicon. You will drive end-to-end signal processing pipelines for next-generation lidar, optimize for embedded hardware, and partner with photonics and electrical teams to translate physical models into practical digital solutions.

Qualifications

• Advanced DSP design experience with industry relevance.
• Strong foundation in spectral estimation, filtering, and noise mitigation.
• Experience mapping algorithms to hardware with latency/bandwidth constraints.

Responsibilities

• Architect core DSP pipelines for end-to-end signal processing.
• Optimize algorithms for embedded hardware (FPGAs/SoC/SIMD) and guide ASIC specs.
• Collaborate with photonics, R&D and electrical teams on physics-to-digital mapping.
• Develop scalable simulation frameworks and prototyping tooling.
• Lead verification, bring-up and performance tuning across targets.
