Tensor seeks talented engineers to join the LiDAR and sensor team in San Jose. You will develop DSP algorithms for embedded platforms, translate Matlab models to Verilog, and build robust embedded software on RTOS-based systems.

The role requires a strong background in embedded DSP, C/C++, and experience with RTOS and hardware peripherals. Collaboration across hardware and software teams is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field (EE/CE/CS).
• 6+ years of industry experience in embedded systems with DSP.
• Strong C/C++ in embedded contexts.
• Experience with scripting languages to solve problems.
• Experience with an RTOS including task scheduling, BSPs, memory management, I/O, and device drivers.
• Knowledge of microcontroller peripherals (ADC, DAC, Flash, EEPROM, timers, watchdogs).

Responsibilities

• Develop DSP algorithms for point cloud processing on embedded hardware (MCU/ DSP/ FPGA).
• Translate Matlab models to Verilog, HLS, C/C++, OpenCL.
• Develop embedded software on an RTOS.
• Create test harnesses to verify algorithms.
• Develop tools for verification and debugging.
• Create documentation for new algorithms.
• Assist integration of inter-processor communication in a larger embedded system.
