Job summary

Rentals To Go is seeking a Lead Driver to supervise and guide drivers, coordinate daily routes, and ensure safe, efficient operations. The role requires hands-on driving duties, as well as coaching and training new drivers to meet service standards across multiple locations.

Responsibilities include monitoring route performance, maintaining compliance with DOT regulations and safety policies, and collaborating with dispatch to optimize daily operations.

Qualifications

• Leadership and mentoring abilities
• Experience training drivers and coordinating field teams
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety practices
• Excellent communication and problem solving in field operations
• Experience with portable sanitation equipment is a plus

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily driver activities and route execution.
• Monitor route progress and report delays or issues to the supervisor.
• Assist drivers with routing questions and service-related issues.
• Perform routes, deliveries, pickups, and equipment servicing as needed.
• Provide field support when routes are behind schedule or staff are short.
• Lead driver training and maintain coaching for performance improvement.
• Ensure equipment is serviced, cleaned, and properly stocked for routes.
