Gone.com is hiring a Lead Driver and Field Trainer in Renton to oversee residential pickups and deliveries, coach new hires on live jobs, and act as the on-site logistics rep. You will drive a 26ft box truck, manage a two-person crew, ensure safety, accuracy, and timely completion, while delivering excellent customer service and coaching.

This role blends driving with hands-on training and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven box truck driving experience, especially with route driving and load & unload tasks.
• Thorough knowledge of loading, load‑securing, and safe moving procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to coach others and give constructive feedback.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (100+ lbs) safely and effectively for extended periods.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Comfortable explaining fees and handling customer payments professionally on site.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed.
• Experience training, supervising, or leading a crew.
• Previous experience in moving, transportation, or warehouse work.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential pickups and deliveries as the operational lead of a two-person crew.
• Enforce proper procedures, loading standards, and safety practices on every job.
• Follow company policies to complete jobs in a timely and organized manner.
• Load and unload furniture and other items securely, packing and wrapping to prevent damage.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with customers.
• Accept or decline items on route, managing space for later pickups per policy.
• Apply applicable fees for declined items and process on-site payments.
