Job summary

InnovAge Holding Corp. is seeking a Lead Driver– Participant Care to transport frail and elderly participants to Day Centers and appointments, assist with meals, supplies, and medications, and support fleet operations.

The role requires a valid DOT/Defensive Driving background, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Work is Monday–Friday with some Saturdays/holidays on a rotating schedule, and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with six months prior experience as a Driver with the organization.
• Excellent driving record with no more than two points on the motor vehicle record.
• DOT and Defensive Driving experience required.
• One year of experience working with the frail or elderly.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience may substitute for education.

Responsibilities

• Drives InnovAge vehicles safely, following policies and routes.
• Loads/unloads participants and assists entering/exiting homes.
• Transports participants to pre-arranged appointments.
• Delivers in-home meals, supplies, and medications accurately.
• Maintains vehicle safety and cleanliness; coordinates maintenance.
• Assist in training drivers and on ride-alongs to ensure route understanding.
